How to Add/Change a Favicon on Your Ghost Blog?

When adding a Favicon, it is a good idea to resize the image to 60x60 pixels and to rename the file to favicon.ico This is not necessary, but is recommended.

In the past, you had to set your favicon in your theme. This will have been overwritten by this publication icon most likely. It is recommended to remove it from your theme and just upload it in the admin using the steps below.

1. Log into your Ghost admin (yoursite.com/ghost)
2. Click on General in the left hand column
3. Where it says Publication Icon upload your favicon.ico that you want to use.
4. Click on Save settings at the top.

Your favicon will now display. If you do not see your favicon, check your browser cache and double check you saved after uploading the favicon. Thats all!
